Syed Zafar Abbas Made the Impossible Possible

Syed Zafar Abbas Made the Impossible Possible

JDC and Zafar Abbas held an opening ceremony for one of their free dialysis center in Karachi. This center was one out of the planned 50 centers in Karachi and was inaugurated on 20th March 2022. The ceremony was attended by various political, religious, and media celebrities, including Sindh’s governor Imran Ismail and the famous TV host Waseem Badami.

The opening ceremony started with a recitation of the Quran, followed by a recitation of Naat. Zafar Abbas was the first person to address the ceremony, and he shared information and the operations of the new dialysis center. At that time, JDC was working on sixteen dialysis centers.

The new dialysis center, like all the rest, provides free-of-cost dialysis services, and there are also plans of introducing MRI, Ultrasound, and X-RAY on the first floor. The center was named ‘JDC GFS Dialysis Center.’

The center aims to provide services to people in New Karachi, Surjani, Mangopir, and close-by areas. The free dialysis center has left no expenses and provides the most refined services for free of cost.

The governor appreciated the efforts of JDC and Zafar Abbas and also promised to nominate him for the civil awards. Waseem Badami was also adamant about the efforts done by JDC.

The JDC foundation has been working to improve the livelihood in Karachi and all across the country in all ways possible. From free dastarkhwan to free ration distribution JDC has volunteers working in all the departments of welfare. The dialysis centers are another component in the long list of welfare activities by JDC through which they want to help the citizens.

The JDC dialysis centers are equipped with the latest technology and state-of-the-art facilities that will provide impeccable services with respect to the people in need. These services are free, and thus JDC has not even installed a billing counter in the center.

The foundation aims to complete most of the fifty centers within the next two years. The fact that Pakistan has more than seventeen million diabetes patients and an income of less than 1300 USD makes affording treatment for such nuanced diseases relatively hard. This is one of the reasons why JDC has been so vocal about this issue because there are millions of patients in this country who need all the support they can get.

The JDC foundation steps have been commended nationwide and internationally which has given a boost to the morale of the foundation, and they will be aiming to provide even more services to the people of this country in the welfare department.
